During my quick trip to Boston a few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to get a taste of Henrietta's Table near Harvard Square. We went on a Sunday morning for lunch, and unsurprisingly there was a long line of people waiting. After about a 20 minute wait, we were finally seated. Despite the busyness, the service is pretty good, and of course most importantly, the food is delicious. True to its motto of honest, good New England food, the menu is comforting, casual brunch food. I had eggs benedict with a hash of red flannel (not sure what this is actually, but it's some sort of meat) with cranberry walnut bread on the side. (love the presentation as well) The eggs and hollandaise sauce were amazing as was the cranberry walnut bread. The hash made sense with the eggs, but after a little while it got too greasy and rich. Next time, I want to try the Poached Eggs and Baked Harrington Ham on Anadama Bread with Asparagus. Overall though, great meal, especially for the extremely reasonable price.
